GENERAL TERMS

This Privacy Policy regulates the processing of personal data of Users by the website Grateful.com.ua, accessible by link https://www.grateful.com.ua (“Site”).

The Site processes personal data of Users in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personal data” is information or a set of information about a person who is identified or can be specifically identified from such data.

By registering on the Site’s website and marking the consent field for personal data processing, the User gives his/her consent to collection, storage, use of such data in accordance with the conditions specified in this Privacy Policy.

COLLECTION AND OTHER TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Each User can visit public sections of the Site without disclosing his name or any other personal data; thus all Users using the public sections of the Site can remain anonymous until they decide to register.

During the registration on the Site Grateful.com.ua has the right to request from the Users the data necessary for them to use the Site.

The information filled by the User during registration is included in the data of the User’s account, through which the User uses the Site. Grateful.com.ua has no right to transfer personal data of Users to any other persons without prior consent of the Users, except for cases when the obligation of such transfer is stipulated by the legislation of Ukraine.

Grateful.com.ua may additionally collect some data automatically, namely information about devices (including mobile), MAC addresses, IP addresses of the User’s devices, the browser used, the version of the operating system, date and time of the User’s access to the Site, type of Internet service provider. The collection of such information facilitates the operation and use of the Site. If the User does not agree with the processing of such data by Grateful.com.ua, he/she should stop using the Site.

Grateful.com.ua at its own discretion may request documents from the Users to verify the identity of them in order to prevent and detect fraud and illegal activities.

PURPOSE OF USER PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Personal data can be processed by Grateful.com.ua with such purposes:

  • Identification of the User registered on the Site;
  • Creation a User account on the Site;
  • Providing the User with access to educational materials and other resources of the Site;
  • Determining the User’s location to ensure security and prevent fraud;
  • Confirmation of the authenticity and completeness of personal data provided by the User;
  • Improving the Site’s functioning;
  • Analyzing the behavior of Users and assessing their interest in various sections of the Site;
  • Informing about services, news, offers via email with the prior User consent.

USER RIGHTS

4.1.By accepting and agreeing with the Terms of Use, the User confirms that he/she, as a subject of personal data, is familiar with the rights provided by the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, namely the rights:

  • to receive information on conditions for obtaining access to personal data, in particular information about third parties to whom his/her personal data is transferred;
  • to obtain access his/her personal data;
  • to receive no later than thirty calendar days from the date of the request, except for cases provided by law, an answer on whether his personal data is being processed, as well as to receive the content of such personal data;
  • submit a justified demand to Grateful.com.ua with an objection to the personal data processing;
  • submit a justified demand to change or delete his/her personal data by any owner and administrator of such data, if these data are processed illegally or are unreliable;
  • to protect the personal data from illegal processing and accidental loss, destruction, damage due to intentional concealment, failure to provide or late provision of data, as well as to be protected from providing information that is unreliable or disgraces the honor, dignity and business reputation of a person;
  • file complaints on the personal data processing to state bodies and officials responsible for personal data protection, or to a court;
  • to apply legal remedies in case of violation of the law on personal data protection;
  • to make a reservation regarding the limitation of the right to process personal data when giving consent;
  • to withdraw consent to the personal data processing;
  • to know the mechanism of automatic personal data processing;
  • to be protected against an automated decision that has legal consequences for him/her.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

5.1. Only authorized employees of Grateful.com.ua, who are engaged in supporting the Site functioning, have access to personal data of Users. Such employees are obliged to maintain confidentiality and prevent unauthorized third-party access to personal data.

5.2. Grateful.com.ua uses means of security and protection of Users’ personal data against their loss, misuse, unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or destruction.

5.3. Grateful.com.ua draws attention to the fact that none of the existing methods of data transmission can be absolutely safe. Therefore, despite all the measures taken to ensure security, Grateful.com.ua cannot guarantee the complete preservation of information and data.

5.4. Grateful.com.ua is not responsible for the actions of third parties, hackers, criminals and other violators of current legislation, who may violate the terms of this Privacy Policy and try to take possession of all or a part of the personal data of Users, as well as use them for personal purposes.

5.5. Personal data is deleted or destroyed from the moment of termination of the legal relationship between the User and Grateful.com.ua.

6.1. Grateful.com.ua uses cookies, web beacons, unique identifiers and similar technologies to collect information about viewed pages, clicks on links, as well as other User actions related to visiting and using the Site.

6.2 Grateful.com.ua has the right to use cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies to store information in order to make the use of the Site more efficient, fast and safe, to improve the functioning of the Site, as well as to provide advertising adapted to the interests of the User.

6.3. The user can block, disable and delete cookies, web beacons and other similar elements if his web browser or device allows it.
